PENGARUH PIJAT OKSITOSIN TERHADAP PENINGKATAN PRODUKSI ASI PADA IBU POSTPARTUM

Based on data from the 2017 Indonesia Health Profile, the coverage of infants receiving exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia was 61.33% (Ministry of Health, 2018). The general objective of this study is to determine the effect of oxytocin massage on increasing breast milk production among postpartum mothers in the working area of the Ciawi Community Health Center (Puskesmas), Ciawi District, Tasikmalaya Regency in 2025. This study employed a quantitative research method with a pre-experimental design. Specifically, the researcher used the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study consisted of all postpartum mothers in the working area of the Ciawi Community Health Center, Ciawi District, Tasikmalaya Regency in 2025, totaling 20 respondents. The statistical test results using the Wilcoxon test showed a p-value of $0.000 < \alpha = 0.05$. Therefore, $H_0$ was rejected, which means there is a significant effect of Oxytocin Massage on Increasing Breast Milk Production among Postpartum Mothers in the working area of the Ciawi Community Health Center, Tasikmalaya Regency in 2025. The results of this study can serve as input for providing information regarding the influence of oxytocin massage on breast milk production.
